Hello and welcome to James Korin Photography!  I am a photographer based in the quaint beach community of Belmont Shores, CA.  My interest in photography started at an early age when I would take photos on our family vacations.  I always loved the way these pictures captured a moment in time and would bring back a flood of wonderful memories.  There is just something special about looking at an old photo from the past that evokes a certain emotion and memory of a time gone by.  Photography has always been a creative outlet for me as I have worked in corporate America in the past and always felt that there was more to life for me.

I LOVE to cook and if I'm not behind the camera, you'll most likely find me at the golf course, though my swing has been having issues lately :(  I also have a huge sweet tooth so don't be afraid to ask for a candy because I probably have some nearby.

We pride ourselves in providing the complete customer experience and making sure all of our clients are happy with how their final images are presented.  I only shoot with professional grade equipment and utilize the latest post editing software to finalize your images to the highest quality.  Since a lot of my work involves outdoor wedding and portrait photography, I utilize the available light.  However, there are times where available lighting is not enough, and this is when I make use of strobes and light modifiers to add that extra layer of light needed to make your images really stand out. 

Please feel free to take a look around and explore.  Our style of photography can best be described as classical and creative with a touch of photojournalism.  We feel that our style and method of photography produces beautiful imagery that tells a story and captures those special moments that will be current now and in the future.  It has been such a wonderful adventure thus far and I am so excited for the future.  My appreciation for art and people has allowed me the honor of sharing my talents and doing what I love.  I couldn't be happier and I look forward to doing business with you.
